  1. Elaine - I need someone to give me a pep talk, because I'm so downhearted about this. Can't remember a lower low in terms of my hopes for the future. Once the courts are on the side of corporations and special interests, I don't know what We the People can do. I'm not feeling much like writing any funny poems, I can tell you. Any optimistic words of wisdom?

  2. Julie,

As you may have noticed--I haven't been writing many funny verses for this blog lately. I was especially downhearted myself after finding out the results of the special election in Massachusetts last Tuesday.

I don't think I'm the person who can give you a pep talk at the moment.
